Product Discontinuation Notice 

Notice effective: February 3, 2025
Products impacted: CTech™ FlowVPE® Instrument and CTech™ FlowVPE® Software 

Dear Valued Customer,

We are writing to inform you that, moving forward, we will be focusing our efforts on our latest in-line Variable Pathlength Technology instrument, the CTech™ FlowVPX® System and CTech™ ViPER® ANLYTX Software. As a result, we will begin the discontinuation of the CTech™ FlowVPE® instrument and associated FlowVPE Software starting February 3, 2025. Click here to view a PDF version of this Discontinuation Notification Letter. 

Please note that the discontinuation will proceed according to the timeline below. This timeline should allow for a smooth transition period for customers upgrading to the FlowVPX System.

The discontinuation process will begin on February 3, 2025, and will be carried out in three stages over the following six years according to this published timeline:

Discontinuation Timeline   What to Expect
 February 3, 2025 – August 7, 2026
  • FlowVPE instrument and software remain available for purchase
  • No further updates to FlowVPE Software (v1.2) 
  • FlowVPE consumables, support, services, and preventive maintenance visits will remain available. 
  • August 7, 2026: Final date to place orders for FlowVPE instrument and software.
 August 8, 2026 – August 8, 2031 
  • Orders for the FlowVPE instrument or software will no longer be accepted.
  • FlowVPE consumables, support, services, and preventive maintenance visits will remain available. 
  • No new multi-year service contracts will be offered.
  • August 8, 2031: End-of-life date for FlowVPE instrument
 Starting August 9, 2031
  • System-specific consumables, support, services, and preventive maintenance visits will no longer be available for the FlowVPE instrument or FlowVPE software.
  • ViPER ANLYTX software will no longer support FlowVPE hardware.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We strongly recommend switching to the FlowVPX System (SYS-VPX-FLOW) and the latest version of ViPER ANLYTX Software, which offers enhanced features and improved performance compared to the FlowVPE System. Feature information can be found in the following documents:

To further simplify the transition from the FlowVPE to the FlowVPX System, we offer Computer System Validation (CSV) services. Our specialists can assist you, reducing the typical transition period from 4–6 months to just a few days.
